On-Line Support System Enhances Quality and Level of Support Offered by Altera
SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 1, 2001--Altera
Corporation (Nasdaq:ALTR - news) customers can now submit, update and track
their service requests on-line with mySupport, a web-based technical
support system accessible via the Altera web site that is seamlessly
integrated with the Altera Customer Applications technical support
center, providing its customers with round-the-clock access to
technical support, the programmable logic device (PLD) company said
today.
"With mySupport, system designers using Altera devices,
intellectual property, and design software for
system-on-a-programmable-chip (SOPC) applications can create, update,

mySupport service requests that were placed over the phone with the
technical support center.

Applications call center, Altera's customer relationship management
system reflects our total commitment to customers," said Craig
Leclair, senior director of Online Marketing at Altera. "Reliable and
innovative support tools allow our customers to make the most of the
time-to-market advantages that our products inherently offer."
